Agromousquetaires: optimizing 40 production sites by 2025
Over the period 2019-2030, Groupement Les Mousquetaires aims to reduce its carbon footprint by 55%, with 80% coming from production activities. To meet this challenge, Agromousquetaires, already very mature in the field of energy efficiency, chose Dametis to speed up the search for ways to optimize energy use. Here’s a look at one of our pilot plants: the Saint-Père dairy in Saint-Père-en-Retz.

Energy savings in industry
agri-food: a critical issue
Outdated Energy Monitoring Systems
Saint-Père Dairy had outdated energy monitoring tools.
Furthermore, reports were being generated in Excel format, leading to a loss of time and consequently a decrease in team performance.
Lastly, there was no data integration between the two sites, and proper support was required for ISO 50001 compliance.
A need for support in mastering a large amount of data
The detection of drifts is done through the MyDametis software. However, when it comes to maintaining the implementation of actions over time, the task becomes more complex.
Agromousquetaires, although mature and very advanced in terms of energy efficiency, cannot implement all corrective actions alone to strive for even greater performance.
Many actions and savings identified by MyExpertise with MyDametis
The installation of MyDametis initially allowed to identify all sources of savings thanks to the digital twin, which compares the ideal to the real.
At the Saint-Père dairy, savings can be made, for example, on steam usage, chilled water distribution pumps, glycol water production, and heat recovery from air compressors. Some savings can be made without investments (CAPEX), as is the case with the chilled water pre-cooler for which a simple flow adjustment, identified by MyExpertise, was sufficient.
